Tom Wegener (Australie), l'un des shapers qui a remis les Alaias au goût du jour, était au Wallako début août pour réaliser plusieurs planches en extérieur et en public. Les curieux sont passé nombreux, et Tom, la langue bien pendue, a expliqué en détail toute la complexité de ces planches en bois huilé (rails, concaves...), passionnant !

Tom Wegener (Australia), one of the shaper who reintroduced Alaias and ancient wooden boards in modern surfing was at the Wallako Surfshop in august to shape some alaias. Everybody was welcomed to see the man in action in front of the shop.
